What Does this Mean for Inflatable
Owners?
This case is already seeing nationwide media
coverage. So, it is important to be aware of
allegations being made-- even if these are
eventually proved false. In the meantime, what
should you do?
1. First if you use products from any of the
manufacturers named you can contact them
directly for a response to the allegations.
2. Second, again if you have inventory from
the named manufacturers, consult an attorney
to see whether you have a duty to warn
customers about
lead risks. Also, please
be aware there
is an industry standard exclusion in General
Liability Insurance policies for Lead
exposures.
3. Third, don't panic. According to Center
for Environmental Health (CEH)
spokesman Charles Margulis they are
NOT
recommending, "...that children should stop
using the houses, but that they should wipe
their hands and faces afterward.
